Great Food, Great Value

At Saddle Skedaddle, comfortable accommodation, good local food, wine and beer come top of our list for restoring that biking energy! En route, we provide plenty of snackstops as well as a delicious buffet lunch, and where appropriate many of our tours include all your meals – check out the Information Panel on each trip to find out which meals are included.

We cater for vegetarians or special dietary requirements. If in doubt, give us a ring.

Vehicle Support

Support vehicles are used on all of our group trips. The vehicle carries all your kit -including bike spares, repair kit, first aid, snacks and lunch, leaving you to travel light and enjoy your holiday. If at any point on the trip you want to rest or forget cycling for the day, you can hop aboard the vehicle and put your feet up. On self-guided trips, the vehicle won’t be on the road with you, but we do transfer your luggage between destinations.

Bikes and Kit

By all means bring along your own bike - many people do and we’ll advise you on airline procedures. In the UK, and most of our foreign destinations, we hire an excellent range of bikes;
For our Biking Adventures and Cycling Holidays we hire front suspension mountain bikes made by the top cycle manufacturer, Giant, and provide a helmet too. For our range of Classic Road Rides we hire triple chainring high-end road bikes, again by Giant, and again with a helmet thrown in! If you’re travelling abroad, you’ll get a recommended kit list in your Pre-departure Dossier.

Financial Protection and Security

As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), an Association approved by the Department of Trade and Industry, Saddle Skedaddle Limited has provided a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992 in respect of non-flight inclusive packages only.

This Bond provides security for money paid over by customers and for the repatriation of customers in the event of Saddle Skedaddle Limited’s insolvency.

Note: Repatriation will only be provided if the travel component of your trip was paid to us.
