Intro to the Mountains
Ever wondered what it's like to ride a road bike high up in the mountains but not quite sure if you're up for the challenge of slogging it out all day every day? Keen to give it a go but don't want to find yourself in the company of a dozen club-riding racing snakes whose only conversations revolve around the Tour De France, the pros and cons of protein shakes and how much their new super lightweight crankset cost them? We've all been there!
Our Mountain Intro tours are the perfect way to ease yourself gradually, towards genuine mountain riding and try some classic Tour de France cols without having to worry about the 100km "warm up"..
Whilst not aimed at hardened road warriors and purist climbers our Mountain Intros are not without challenges and not designed for absolute beginners and novice riders. To get the most out of them a good level of fitness is required.
