This was awesome!
Always knew you were there if needed. The map book was invaluable and the added tips helped plan each day so we got the maximum value. Favourite day was Day 2 of the cycling days, Bratislava to Mosonmagyarovar. The cycle paths were wide and our 2 boys loved the freedom to explore handling their bikes.
To sum it up, Ben & Owen (aged 9 and 12) said on the last night in Budapest: “Where to next dad, this was awesome and you need to top this!”

We cannot fault the service provided by Skedaddle. It was well organised and Jess was always on hand to help us with our queries. We would thoroughly recommend Skedaddle and were impressed with every aspect of the holiday. So a big thank you!
A superb holiday
Total mileage for the trip was 241 and we enjoyed every minute. We were particularly impressed with the hotels selected and the food served both at breakfasts and for our half board package, lucky we were cycling a good distance a day or the airline would have charged for excess baggage i.e. us
Your representative in Vienna was a charming guy and gave us all the information needed clearly and patiently and again was a credit to your organisation. Thanks again for your help!
Really enjoyed the holiday overall. Some great scenery and interesting places to visit.
Enjoyed final day with ferry rides to cross river. Great fun. Day 4 to Gyor also good as Gyor is a lovely town to visit. Whole route is very flat.
Skedaddle responded to our enquiry immediately and organised a wonderful holiday for us at very short notice – less than a week! Favourite day : Esztergom to Budapest. The cycling path was excellent and close to the river which was most enjoyable.
This was our first cycling holiday and picked Saddle Skedaddle from a search engine, so were unsure how it would be. We were really pleased with the service and holiday. Some memorable moments, met some lovely people throughout the week. With exception of one day, our luggage arrived before us, and several hotels had kindly put it in our room in time for our arrival. Good quality hotels with comfortable rooms.

Favourite day : A very hard choice. We took the route on the Hungarian side of the river and the alternative route via Tata between Gyor and Esztergom. Really enjoyed this route. The first and final days cycling were also fantastic.
Favourite day : Riding from Bratislava to Mosonmagyaróvár because they were both really interesting, easy to navigate and good length of cycling so we could enjoy sight seeing as well.

Modern culture seems to have taken a fancy for the stylish Hungarian capital Budapest of late, with both film and music turning to this impressive city, often called the ‘Paris of the east,’ for inspiration. Both Wes Andersons’s quirky off the wall comedy, The Grand Budapest Hotel and George Ezra’s soulful Budapest hit evoke the ...
