You'll start this self-guided cycling holiday in the impressive city of Prague. During the week, you'll be making your way through the Czech Republic and into eastern Germany. This is a beautiful journey through history, along the Moldau and Elbe Rivers. Whether you're looking for stunning architecture, historical sights, or a vast array of food and beers, Prague has it all and is the perfect place to start your trip! The fairytale buildings around the city are a joy to wander around.

During the week you'll cycle gently along the River Moldau and River Elbe. You'll visit lots of picturesque Czech and German villages along the way, as you cycle across romantic landscapes. Make sure you stop to enjoy the panoramic views of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - a hugely impressive landscape!

Your final destination is Dresden. Once known as the 'Florence of the North', this city has one of the most striking sillouhettes across the whole of Europe. Make sure you take in the view from the Elbe's northern bank, which shows off Dresden's spires, towers and domes. If you have time there's lots of historical buildings to visit, including the Zwinger Palace, Semperoper (Opera House) and the Frauenkirche.
