This self-guided cycling holiday in France is designed for those who want to take their time whilst cycling in order to enjoy a land rich in French tradition, history, gastronomy and fine wines.

During your day on the bike, there are only a few large hills to climb and so is suitable for those after an easy paced cycling holiday and families with older children. This part of Burgundy is known for its impressive abbeys, elegant chateaux, medieval half-timbered villages and fortified towns.

This part of France is also famous for its warm hospitality and inimitable knack for enjoying life. Even before Julius Caesar fought his decisive battles with the Gauls, people have been lured to this beautiful land of gently rolling landscapes, sleepy villages, rivers and canals and it lends itself perfectly for cycling. Burgundy is a land of culture, of tradition, countryside, fine food and excellent wine. The vineyards of Chablis and Auxerrois are amongst holiday highlights and time is set aside here for a spot of wine tasting.

Our French cycling holidays are all about good food, comfortable accommodation and beautiful cycling routes which create a memorable cycling holiday experience. Whether travelling to France by plane, driving or taking the train, a warm welcome will greet you at your first night's accommodation. You will be staying in carefully selected small 2 and 3 star hotels and guesthouses and you may choose either the half board or B&B option.

This French self-guided cycling holiday is available for daily departures for a minimum of two people. We book all your accommodation, transfer your luggage and provide you with cycling routes and a detailed itinerary. Just contact us with your preferred dates.
