A superb self-guided cycling holiday on the beautiful island of Corsica; known to the ancient Greeks as “kalliste”, the most beautiful, and referred to as “The Beautiful Isle” by generations of travellers ever since, Corsica is one of the most diverse places in Europe. Our new self-guided cycling tour here allows you to explore the most stunning parts of the Cap Corse, the island's sparsely populated northern peninsular.
Your week begins in Bastia, a bustling historic city situated on the eastern coast of the island, and with time to explore the picturesque old port and citadel, it's a relaxed start to your cycling holiday. As the week goes on, you will journey through an ever-changing landscape which allows you to discover the rugged coastline.
Passing through the small fishing village of Macinaggio, you'll soon reach St. Florent with plenty of time left to explore its narrow streets and waterfront. With an optional rest day in St. Florent, there's time to really make the holiday your own as you can choose between a day on the bikes or relaxing on one of the Caribbeanesque beaches of the Agriates desert. Topped off with a glass of local wine from the Patrimonio region, it'll be hard to say goodbye when the week comes to an end!
This holiday focuses on comfortable and welcoming accommodation, beautiful cycling routes, and exploring great towns, all of which help make your holiday a memorable experience. We'll book all your accommodation, transfer your luggage, and provide you with maps and a GPX, allowing you to cycle at your own pace.
