Holiday Information

This lovely self-guided cycling holiday in France combines beautiful Provence landscapes with historical towns and cities and has a distinctly Roman feel to it.

Your cycling  takes you from the town of Orange through St Laurent, past the famous aqueduct, Pont de Gard to Frigolet and to Avignon. Plenty of time to savour wines from the famous vineyards you'll be cycling past, including Côte du Rhône and Les Beaux. You'll visit the romantic town of St Rémy, famous for its aromas of wild herbs. Van Gogh lived in St Rémy and along with the wonderful surrounding landscape in the shadow of the Alpilles you'll see what provided the inspiration for many of his paintings.

Cycling southwards towards the Mediterranean the route will take you through Arles, perched on the Rhone with its well preserved amphitheatre, past countless medieval and Roman monuments and through the protected region of the Camargue, home of the wild white horses and an array of exotic wildlife, providing a memorable finale to your cycling holiday.

Our French cycling holidays are all about good food, comfortable accommodation and beautiful cycling routes which create a memorable cycling holiday experience. You'll stay in carefully selected small 2 and 3 star hotels and guesthouses and a warm welcome will greet you each evening.

This holiday is available for Friday, Saturday or Sunday departures for a minimum of two people. We book all your accommodation, transfer your luggage and provide you with cycling routes and a detailed itinerary. Just contact us with your preferred dates.
