View Holiday Schedule

This lovely cycling holiday in France visits the Atlantic Coast, starting in La Rochelle, a one thousand year old white washed city, famed for its two imposing towers that guard the old town; from there you'll follow the dramatic Atlantic Coast south to the coastal resort of Royan.
Highlights along the way include a ride to Baie de l’Aiguillon, a visit to the affluent island of Ile de Ré and the chance to relax on the beautiful beaches of Royan.
The long expanses of white beaches along the Atlantic Coast have been well looked after and have kept their charm, with minimal development in comparison to some of the other Costas and Côtes across Europe. The coastline is characterised by pretty port towns, stunning sandy beaches and wide areas of flat land, perfect for cycling!
You’ll be riding along country lanes and cyclepaths, on largely flat terrain. This self guided holiday is available for a minimum of two people and we have departures every Saturday. We'll book all your accommodation, transfer your luggage and then provide you with routes and an itinerary for you to do the trails uguided. Just let us know your preferred start date.
If you're interested in doing this holiday with children, then check out the family version of the trip, where you may find the information more relevant to your needs.
