Holiday Information

New for 2017, a leisurely journey between three of the most magnificent cities in Andalucia; Granada, Cordoba and Seville. Each city is entrenched in ancient Moorish heritage and all ooze Andaluz culture.
The cities are linked with rides through rolling sierras and olive groves and into La Campina, once the ‘bread-basket’ of the Roman Empire. You will also cycle along the purpose built cycle way, Vias Verdes; once the railway lines of the region, they are now disused and perfect for cycling! By design they are compact and flat, offering a perfect rolling network from which to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and cultural and historical delights of the real Andalucia.
This adventure will thrill the senses calling first at Granada, the last Moorish capital crammed with historical and architectural delights. The beauty of the majestic Alhambra Palace and Generalife gardens are unmissable and we would highly recommend arriving into Granada a few days early to see the sights and soak-up the seductiveness of this wonderful city. Your route meanders through craggy sierras, passing castle-topped villages with overnight stays in Baena and Bujalance, which are immersed by the production of liquid gold, olive oil.
Next stop is the birth place of Spanish Flamenco. Cordoba is a curious mix of Moorish and Catholic architectural wizardry, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city in which the Mezquita, or Mosque-Cathedral, reigns supreme. The Vias Verdes cycle path de la Campina will take you on gentle trails to the monumental Carmona, before a short last day ride into Seville, full of Andalucian treasures. A bike tour around this cycle-friendly city will give you chance to sample the sights like the cathedral and Giralda tower. Seville, a city characterized by flamenco, tapas bars and remarkable architecture, is a truly unforgettable cultural experience and a real highlight to end this fantastic holiday.
If you have time to extend your holiday then we would recommend extra time in Granada, to visit the Alhmabra, Cordoba, to visit the Mezquita, and Seville, to explore the Catedral. Please let us know if you would like any additional nights.
