If you're looking to explore Andalucia, then this self-guided cycling holiday in Spain is just the ticket. On a mixture of dirt tracks and back lanes, this cycling holiday is gently paced, with an emphasis on appreciating this beautiful area by bike, rather than getting to the next accommodation as soon as possible.
During your time cycling you’ll have plenty of chances to meet the fiercely proud local people and immerse yourself in their magnificent and diverse cuisine that alters dramatically as you head through the mountains to the coast. That said there are some decent climbs to get your biking legs into and earn your après ride tinto.
Accomodation during the holiday has been picked by quality, character and authenticity to give you a truly Andalucian experience. Ancient Moorish village houses, grand casonas, rural hotels built into castle walls, a beachside thatched hotel and a riverside casa rural with an organic kitchen and the chance of a massage or Turkish bath to soothe any aching limbs are all examples of where you might be staying! For the final few days of the holiday we will head along the beautiful, wild Costa de la Luz, passing beachside roman sites, ancient tuna fishing villages, and Cabo Trafalgar.
When you reach your accommodation your bags and rooms will be waiting for you, leaving you only one thing to worry about...what to have for dinner! If you'd prefer to explore a slightly different area of Andalucia, then we also have our White Villages self-guided holiday.
