Saddle Skedaddle looked after us really well
We really enjoyed this holiday, the villages that we cycled through and where we stayed on the trip were wonderful, each with their own characteristics but all sharing a great charm and friendly ambience.
The scenery was breathtaking and despite the high temperatures on a couple of days we were able to enjoy the views as we tackled the ups and downs of the route. Cycling up to the Puerto Paloma pass on the way to Grazelema – taxing but worthwhile for the views and sense of achievement at the top.
The transfers were efficient, trip notes were excellent and as was the baggage transfer. On a couple of occasions we needed support – once due to a mechanical problem and once because of the heat and both times the support was excellent. Our guide, Dan, made sure that all the arrangements for the trip went smoothly.
One of our best holidays in recent years...
Absolutely nothing went wrong which is amazing for a self guided trip! The weather, the scenery, the hotels and the meals were all excellent. The support was good with no fuss.
The bikes were good and did not malfunction – not even a puncture!
Favourite day : Definitely Day 5, the climb up from Zahara up and over to Grazalema. That was the most stunning ride I’ve ever done.
