Visitors To Our Website

What information do we collect ?

When you visit our website, our web server collects basic user information about you that includes your ISP’s domain, the time you accessed our website and the pages from within our website that you visit.

We may at times also use cookies, which are small pieces of information that a website can store in a designated file on your computer. Cookies allow a web application to respond to you as an individual.

How do we use this information ?

The basic user information collected is used to help us analyse web traffic and to improve the content of our website. Cookies may be used to facilitate your customer interaction with us. For example, we may use a cookie on the landing page of products sold online which record the customer information that is required on the order form, and then forward this information to our internal sales tracking database.

We may from time to time disclose to third parties aggregate information on our website’s traffic profile. For example, Internet advertising companies may require this data to help us better target our advertisements on our website(s) and/or other websites.

Note that our site provides links to products and services offered by other companies; the company’s website that you link to will be able to determine that you linked from our website.

Transport Layer Security Version 1.0 Migration Plan

Skedaddle take every measure to ensure payment information is transmitted to our secure payment gateway as securely as possible. In compliance with recent updates to PCI DSS requirements, we will therefore be migrating away from TLS (Transport Later Security) version 1.0 and will disable this protocol completely by 30th June 2018.

This will affect customers using the following web browsers:

  • Firefox before version 27
  • Chrome before version 22
  • Internet Explorer before version 11
  • Opera before version 14
  • Safari before version 7
  • Android before version 4.4

In the mean time, we are implementing a counter-measure to TLS 1.0 by ensuring that clients who can support more secure protocols always use them. Our site currently supports TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.1 in addition to TLS 1.0 with the most recent cypher being used if supported by the customer’s web browser.

We would advise that any customers using any of the older browser versions above update to the latest version as soon as possible to prevent and disruption using our website.
